Electronic Voting Machine! not to be used in future elections in India and why I recommend On Line Voting as an Update?!!!.
In electronic voting Machine election commission can only allow 62 candidates or contestants with logo's.
even in the recent R.K.Nagar Election in Chennai Tamil nadu we found more than 78 candidates. But luckily more than 15 candidates withdrawn their candidature is also a truth and on which usage of Electronic Machine was confirmed ,other wise instead of electronic voting Machine Old system of Ballot paper system could have been used as an alternative to conduct the election.
Now weakness of Electronic Machine voting system is in this Machine use more than 62 candidates can not contest in a constituency.
Opposition Parties may show their interest in many people and may ask those people to contest on Independent candidates category and by this contestants number may be more than 62 which will force election commission to avoid Electronic machine.
Old Ballot paper system was the only option available. this system updated by electronic machine usage.
Election may postponed due to this huge Number of candidates in a constituency. Like this in many constituency Political parties can arrange to Disturb the election commission as well as Government. No alternative available with election commission or Government of India.
similarly if a ruling party knowing the strength of a candidate in Opposition party and Guaranteed failure to ruling party candidate , Ruling party can also ask many contestants in a constituency on independent candidates. this will avoid/deviate the conduct of election as per scheduled. No alternative available and it will pave way the death of Democracy in India.
So it is mandatory to update our election system to On Line Voting system. Thanks. j.k.sundararajan.
